Royal Navy Rugby League
The Royal Australian Rugby League team are currently on tour in the UK where they will be playing the Royal Navy Rugby league team in the Armistice Challenge Cup.
As part of their visit to the UK, representatives from both sides joined together for a formal wreath laying ceremony to help mark the Thank You movement. The group also paid a visit to The Royal British Legion head office in London where they learnt about the Legion's vital work and found out more about the Thank You campaign.
The team also visited the Tower Hill memorial, which remembers military and civilian mariners who have lost their lives, including those who served on convoy duty on warships or merchantman in both the First and Second World War. The team laid their wreaths and observed a two minute silence to remember the fallen.
