Jutexpo have partnered with The Royal British Legion for many years, producing what has now become an iconic series of ethically produced, reusable Poppy Bags which are sold to via the on-line Poppy Shop as well as Sainsbury’s.

Since the partnership began, these official Poppy Bags have raised over £1 million for the Royal British Legion.

Proud to remain a family run business based in Worcestershire, Jutexpo have strong links with their modern factory in Kolkata in India.

Jutexpo saw the link with India as the perfect opportunity to support the Royal British Legion’s ‘Thank You’ movement, showing gratitude towards the whole of the First World War generation.

Jutexpo, Compliance Director Sam Turner said: “We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with The Royal British Legion by supporting the Khadi Poppies initiative and contributing half of the cost of the authentic Khadi, hand woven fabric.”

“The Khadi fabric has been made into poppies, identical to the traditional British Symbol of Remembrance and are being handed out to the British Asian Community at special events, throughout the year.”
