The 16 Show Gardens at Hambrooks Garden Design Centre based in Titchfield, Hampshire are to help customers see ideas for redesigning their gardens. With much positive and encouraging feedback, the Centre's Assistant Manager Frankie Banting's realised just how inspiring these gardens are to visitors. This led to her brainchild to use the Show Gardens to provoke in visitors, an altogether different experience. She uses the inspirational concept of the gardens to help promote and raise funds for local charities.
Hambrooks' legacy of 48 years in business has a long history of employing local ex-servicemen. With Hampshire's association with the Royal Navy and other military, choosing to support The Royal British Legion was an ideal partnership. This year in particular it is a great opportunity to help build awareness of The Royal British Legion's all important Centenary anniversary of the end of the First World War and their 'Thank You' campaign.
Show Garden dedicated to The Royal British Legion is called:
'The Garden of Gratitude'
This garden is a favourite of our customers as it has a very peaceful aura with its natural backdrop of shrubs, trees, flowers and the soft sound of water from the fountain. This makes it an ideal garden to sit in for quiet reflection. It is decorated in ceramic poppies, 2 poppy wreaths, the Navy silhouette and a dedicated garden plaque.
Engraved into the top of the existing pergola and finished in red lacquer:
Thank you to our Forces for their Service & Support
